How to Change the Color of a Background

Introduction

Changing the color of a background layer can really make your product or subject stand out. In PhotoCut, you can easily set the background color on the background layer and choose from preset colors or from a color wheel.

Choosing the Right Color

It's important to select a color that compliments the color palette of your product. This will help create a cohesive and visually appealing design.

On iPhone or iPad

For New Designs

If you are working on a new design, select Layers and then choose the Background layer. From there, you can select the color for the background.

For Existing Designs

If you are editing a design that is already saved, select Change background and then choose Color. Pick a color that you like for the background.

Final Steps

After selecting the color, make sure to close the Color settings by selecting X in the top corner. Then, select Done for the background layer. Finally, use the Export icon to save and share your design.

On Android

For New Designs

On the Create page, select Start from photo and import a new photo. Choose a template, such as the classic white background. You can then select the Background layer and choose a color for the background.

For Existing Designs

If you are editing an existing design, select Your Content and choose one of your designs to edit. Follow the same steps as for new designs to change the background color.

Final Steps

After selecting the color, remember to close the Color settings and then select Done for the background layer. Use the Export icon to save and share your design with others.
